Proof of Citizenship |
Dear
traveling and cruising client:
Don't risk your being denied boarding at the pier....
or traveling to any foreign country.
As you know, proof of citizenship policy strictly states that passengers provide required travel documents prior to embarkation. Previously, cruise line passengers have signed a release form acknowledging their U.S. citizenship, allowing boarding. This is no longer the case with cruise line's.
Therefore, it is crucial that you review the following information:
Please note that the requirements listed below apply to all cruises EXCEPT sailings in Europe and South America, as well as cruises from Hawaii calling at Fanning Island, Republic of Kiribati. Passengers on these cruises must carry a valid passport to travel.
Permanent residents of the United States are required to carry their ARC cards for boarding. A child traveling with an adult who is not the parent or legal guardian must possess a notarized parental/guardian consent letter that authorizes the minor to travel and receive medical treatment in case of an emergency.
Canadian Entry Requirements further stipulate that minors under age 18 traveling into Canada without both parents must have in their possession a notarized letter of consent detailing actual travel dates and signatures of both parents as authorization.
Thank You. Should you have any further questions, please call us at (800) 433 5945 or (360) 794 4886. As always, an agent of Carlson Wagonlit Travel is available to assist you.
Sincerely,
The Staff at Carlson Wagonlit Travel
