LeRoy Bloor was born November 14, 1944, in Snohomish, Washington, and died May 4, 2005, at the age of 60, in Monroe, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry; and brother, Randy. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sandy; children, Kim, Doug (Jan), and Rich (Tami) Bloor; grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, and Trent Bloor; mother, Vada Bloor; brothers, Jim, Craig, and Dennis; sisters, Judy, Marilyn, and Christy; plus numerous other Bloor and Bengston family and friends. Memorial services was helded at 1 p.m, Saturday, May 7, at the Monroe United Methodist Church, Monroe, Washington. Memorials may be made to the Heart Association or the Diabetes Association. |

(2006) John worked in a variety of machine shops until 1980 when he started his own
business in his basement. He did a lot of work over the years for companies related to the electronics industry.
Most of his work was prototype model making. John and Emily spent one year in Papua New Guinea working as support personnel
with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Then we built our own home in two different places near Monroe, first on Hand Road, and
then on Van Brocklin Road. In 1999, we moved to Colville to be out of debt and enjoy a slower pace of life.
Our two boys are married, one lives next door to us and the other lives in Sultan. We have three grandchildren.
We will celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary this year. Hobbies include gardening, orcharding, restoring old machinery,
and studying the scriptures in the original languages (Hebrew and Greek). |

(2006) Bob and Laurie spent 20 years (1965-1985) moving around the USA (N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia) while Bob was in Marine Corps Aviation, flying in the back seat of an F-4. Laurie, during those years ,was the ever dutiful wife assuming her demanding schedule of raising two children alone much of the time while Bob spent three tours overseas (Japan and 2 in Viet Nam). She also worked in the banking profession until Bob's retirement from the Marines. Having lived in Monroe since 1985, the first 16 years were in the home Laurie grew up in. Finally in 2001 they made a long move up Trombley Hill to a newer, smaller, brighter, home, with postage stamp yard for Bob which made him incredibly delighted. Laurie has been teaching third grade in the Sultan School District since the return to Washington and Bob has been with the prison system since 1989 currently the Human Resources Manager. Their son Jeff (36) lives in Kirkland, and their daughter Jamie (33) lives a block from Mom and Dad. There are five beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from 17 years to two years. Both think that retirement looks good in about three years, although Laurie hasn't figured out how she will be able to be around Bob 24/7. That will require some work! BTW - four sassy cats live with them. Chip and Salsa being the newest adoptions, and Chip thinking he is charge of all cats!

Douglas Kent Scott "Kent" Gail |

Douglas "Kent" Scott passed away on April 13, 2011, after a long and courageous battle fighting a massive bone infection.
He was with his wife, Gail, at the University of WA Medical Center. Kent served in the United States Naval Reserves and was on the USS Prime which was a mine sweeper and served in the Vietnam War. He grew up in Monroe, WA where he was in the Logging Business for over 35 years as a timber faller and various other logging jobs throughout WA, Alaska, Montana, and Oregon. He loved the outdoors, timber falling, fishing, old cars and above all his family. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Gail; his two step-daughters, Lisa Avelar, of Seattle, WA and Lindsey Avelar, of Philidelphia, PA; his brother, Kirk and sister-in-law, Darla; his nephews, Destry and Kasey Scott, of Graham, WA; his sons, Brady and Jay Scott; and his granddaughters, Brook and Akasha Scott, all in the Monroe area, and Morgan Scott, of Helena, MT. Kent's life was Celebrated from 2 to 5 p.m. on June 18, at IXTAPAS Restaurant, 19343 State Route 2, Monroe, WA. Arrangement were made under the care of Funeral and Cremation Care, Bellingham, WA. |

Keith Allen Zierman, beloved Father, Brother and Grandfather, passed from his life due to heart failure on Friday April 18th, 2008, in Yelm, Washington at the age of 63. Keith was born in Seattle, Washington on October 24th, 1944, the first son of Clinton E and Lavern Zierman. He completed his high school education at Monroe High School in 1964 and took many courses to further his career as a Machinist.
Keith wore many hats in the final years of his life landscaper, auto mechanic, painter, home improvements and many other skills he picked up over the years. Early on he worked for the Railroad and went on to work 13 years at Disston Saw as a Journeyman Machinist. When he wasn't working, Keith enjoyed reading, visiting with friends and working on projects for and with his children. His true joy was his family and he always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren. He was a proud and frugal, yet giving, man who lived a simple life to his choosing.
Keith was married to the girl next door, Sheryl Hendrix in the Spring of 1965 until their divorce in 1984. Keith and Sheryl have four children, sons Brett Zierman and Bryan Zierman of Puyallup, Washington, Daughters Amber Zierman Hargrove of Fairfield, California and Amy Zierman Middling of Puyallup, Washington.
Keith is survived by his children, two sons-in-law Andy Middling and Roy Hargrove, brother Eric Zierman, Grandchildren Kiersten Zierman, Carrera Zierman, Shalimar Zierman, Josilyn Middling, Blake Zierman, Wiley Middling, Amori (Momo) May Hargrove and Harmony Zierman, three nephews Jason, Jeffrey, Seth, one niece Jacqueline and too many friends to mention. Keith was preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Lavern and brother Leroy Zierman.
